Opening an Acorn Account couldn't be easier. We need to verify your identity and residency by confirming your full name, date of birth and address. We will not need to carry out any credit checks*, all we need to do is verify your identity and residency.

What will happen next:

  • A Welcome Pack and Wages mandate will be sent out to you
  • Call to activate your account and set up your Direct Debits and standing orders
  • We then send your Acorn Account Prepaid Debit MasterCard® Card and a password for your online account access
  • On receipt, call to activate your Acorn Account Card and retrieve your PIN
